Shambala Festival
Shambala Festival, a beacon of creativity and community, elevated its 2024 edition with its first-ever drone light show. Known for its commitment to sustainability, independent spirit, and celebration of art in all forms, Shambala has long been a place where innovation meets tradition. The introduction of a drone light show was a perfect reflection of the festival’s ethos, blending cutting-edge technology with the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
August 2024 / Northamptonshire, UK / For Shambala Festival
Shambala festival celebrated its silver anniversary in style by announcing one of the biggest lineups in the festival’s history – and this year it included a drone show. The show titled Cosmic Wisdom flew on the Saturday of the bank holiday weekend and displayed 416 drone lights alongside the timeless perception of Alan Watts as the audio. Reducing noise levels at the popular music festival so that you could almost hear a pin drop demonstrated the show’s impact on the gripped audience. The appearance of the festival’s logo as the finale to the show received a huge cheer from the crowd and was followed by a dazzling firework display from TwoTigers, with a bespoke soundtrack by DJ Yoda.
We were absolutely blown away by Celestial’s drone display – as were our 15,000 strong audience, whose gushing feedback made it clear this was one of the most-show stopping spectaculars in Shambala’s 25 year history. A truly spellbinding show that brought many to joyful tears, and an experience that we’ll never forget.
