At the 2024 Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival, audiences experienced a stunning new feature in the traditional bonfire night line-up: Celestial’s signature Cosmic Wisdom drone show. This choreographed spectacle, set to the words of the late philosopher Alan Watts, transformed the London skyline with sci-fi-inspired shapes and abstract patterns that evolved above Alexandra Palace in a moving exploration of unity and existence.
Blending visual artistry with philosophical insight, Cosmic Wisdom captivated festival-goers with vivid displays that seemed to illustrate Watts’s musings on life and interconnectedness. The drone show, a first for the historic festival, served as a thought-provoking prelude to the traditional fireworks display, creating an atmosphere of both wonder and reflection.
The festival, held on Friday, 1 November, and Saturday, 2 November, continued with lively entertainment, including The Cuban Brothers on Friday night and UK garage legends Artful Dodger on Saturday. StrEATlife offered a range of street food, while the German Bier Festival, with its Oompah band and sing-alongs, brought Bavarian flair. Beyond the drone show and fireworks, classic funfair rides, a bonfire, and ice skating sessions contributed to the vibrant energy across Alexandra Palace’s 196-acre parkland, making the 2024 event an unforgettable fusion of tradition and innovation.
The drone display went down really well and feedback has been incredible. I’d watched the video countless times but when you actually see it in person it’s pretty spectacular. Thank you for making it seamless in both the planning and delivery.
