Raising Eyes to the Sky in the U.S.

17th July, 2023

On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2023, Celestial Drones performed a drone show in the U.S., raising funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) as part of an unforgettable 4th of July weekend at Point of the Bluff Vineyards in the state of New York.

The moving drone show, titled “HUMBLE COURAGE” was an awe-inspiring drone light show with a captivating narrative of human triumph over adversity, told from the deeply affecting perspective of individuals living with Muscular Dystrophy.

Following extraordinary performances by Leonid & Friends on the Saturday and classic rock legends America on the Sunday night, the visually stunning 400 drone display concluded events over breathtaking views of Keuka Lake. The drones, through a cosmic and ephemeral presentation of sacred geometric formations, created both a mesmerising and uplifting experience. The drones’ intricate light formations took on a mystical quality and became vessels of inspiration, conveying a powerful message of resilience and hope.

The soundtrack, featuring a moving poem written by Celestial creatives Marc J Francis and Robbie Sloan and an experiential cinematic musical score by Bethany Stenning enhanced the emotional journey of the light show and created a multisensory symphony that celebrates not just the challenges faced by those living with Muscular Dystrophy but also the invincibility of the human spirit that is in us all.

“Through the creation of our drone light show for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, “Humble Courage,” we harnessed our storytelling expertise to redefine the limits of drone light show displays. Our aim was to narrate a compelling tale of conquering challenges, emphasising the indomitable spirit of individuals affected by Muscular Dystrophy. This project perfectly embodies Celestial’s core mission of crafting emotionally captivating narratives that ignite inspiration within people.” Marc J. Francis, Creative Director at Celestial
